Nope. Now it’s back. For some reason completely unclear to me, and now I feel like a total idiot.

But the issue resolved itself.

Something interesting – one site I edit CAN use the preview – another site I edit can’t. The difference between the two seems to be jetpack, but because I’m a junior admin on the MTS site, I’m afraid to disable it in case I break it.

Yes, problem is persisting. CLeared browser cache, site cache, flashed everything, logged out and back in, still not loading.

even installed Gutenberg, activated, deactivated all plugins. Still no preview.

The one consistent error (because it changes with each scrape) is: Object at URL ‘https://thecanuckian.ca/daily-reflection-06-12-2017/’ of type ‘website’ is invalid because a required property ‘og:title’ of type ‘string’ was not provided.

And, for the record – FB debugger says the tags are there, it’s just not sharing the content. ????? Just bizarro.

All of these were done before I posted here. Still having oddball issues. I also ran your new update and the problem is still happening.

Not sure what’s wrong. What’s really irritating is that it’s intermittent. Sometimes OG will fetch/see the image, sometimes it won’t.

At first I thought it was my sharing plugin, but when I direct copy/paste the URL to FB, it’s still not fetching image after multiple rescrapes, both through OG and API.

Not really sure how to proceed.

Glad I read this. Looks like there’s a few problems with this plugin. I need gzip, but not badly enough to risk being angry and hungry.
