I have the same issue on version 1.3.2
On my test order I did not change any payment info after it was inputted. I checked out with a credit card as a guest.
Payment and the order processed successfully but the error was displayed for a few seconds.
Also, I placed a previous order earlier in the day and received the same error message with the same payment method, however that order did not process, and the order details show pending payment.
I will open a ticket from the link you provided as well with logs.
