Thanks for the reply! After I posted I did a bunch of digging and trial and error, and did fix the problem. One problem I found the answer was changing get_excerpt to get_content and the other was changing a whole .php blog file in the theme. I do not plan on using my site as a blog and the site is working perfectly now so I’m happy. The issue was not related to WordPress, but the theme itself.

Thanks for your reply. After reading your message, I cleared the cache in Chrome (starting to really hate Chrome) and it seems fine now. I apologize for posting, I was just freaking out that I had screwed up a page we have been working on for a few days. It was stating that the Diablo theme settings were not reading and to replace footer links. I had not tampered with the footer at all. That’s what was happening. Thanks !!
