Firstly, I’m truly sorry to hear that you’ve lost your custom codes after the theme update! I’d like to clarify that the behavior you experienced is inherent to the structure of WordPress itself. When themes are updated, any customizations made directly within the theme files may be overwritten. This is not an Astra problem, works same for other themes as well.

I noticed you mentioned that Spectra requires hosting your WordPress site on our servers, which is not accurate. Spectra is simply a plugin for WordPress and doesn’t involve hosting services. You can install it on your existing WordPress site just like any other plugin.

Regarding the use of AI, I want to clarify that it’s an integral part of our service and not reliant on any third-party providers. Additionally, using AI features is entirely optional for users.

Allow me to simplify the process for you:

1. Install Spectra on your WordPress site.
2. You can then use Spectra blocks directly within your Gutenberg editor without any further steps.
3. If you wish to access our design library, simply navigate to the Gutenberg Editor, click on the ‘Design Library‘ button, and complete a one-time registration or login with your email. From there, you can explore and use the available templates.
