I have upgraded to 3.8 again and did what that article said:

Update Products – That has got the products back
moving wpsc-category_widget.php – No error an more

If you compare these:

Differences in the 3.8 version:
Categories List is wrong
Main Text is squashed up (missing line breaks)
Paging is showing the top and bottom controls together at top
Featured Products Title Missing
Products don’t show up in the same order
Products show aktt_notify_twitter: no
Product thumbnails are dead until the page has been loaded once
Footer is missing

This page: https://dev.anxietyuk.org.uk/get-involved/join-anxiety-uk/ has multiple paging and says: There are no products in this group.

Looks like I have been hit with template issues!

Thanks for your offer of help Justin, I will hold back a few months as there seems to be way too many issues with 3.8 and existing templates.

Looks like the function ‘wpsc_print_product_list()’ has been removed, causing the categories list to disappear.

The checkout forms also seem to have been lost.

I uploaded the older version and that made the shop work again. But I got the error message above and none of the shop urls worked. I was looking for the links that fix the url problems, but couldnt find them.

I will setup a development version of the site so I can work from that. If you can take a look when it’s setup it would be great.

Ah fixed it using:

add_filter('get_comment_author_link', 'my_function');

I fixed it myself ??

In case anyone wants to know how to fix this:

Download:
/wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/widgets/shopping_cart_widget.php

Add </div> on the end of line 48 so that it reads:
<div class=’wpsc_cart_loading’><p><?php _e(‘Loading…’, ‘wpsc’); ?></p></div>

Upload and Job Done ??

I dunno, sloppy coders! lol

Found the problem. When Super Cache is on and WP e-Commerce is installed then this broken code is shown:

<div class=’wpsc_cart_loading’><p>Loading…</p>

Does this now mean I need to contact WP e-Commerce to look into it?
