Never mind, I found your support form in the small “Help” green button stuck vertically on the right hand side… not very easy to see when you already show a “Support” section within the page.

Perhaps your web designer could improve the UX?

Hey iubenda support, I need to contact you but your email address [email protected] has issues.

I’ve received 2 x notifications stating “The email account that you tried to reach is inactive.”

Is this email account still active? Is there another way to reach you?

Why don’t you have a proper support ticketing system like other companies of your size? It seems strange to have to send you a regular email to an address that doesn’t even work…

Please let me know as we need your help on a frustrating topic.

Thanks @devnihil for the info. I’ve now noticed that other clients websites are having the same issue, Google is suddenly adding the site title before the meta SEO title we’ve carefully crafted.

Is it 100% certain not due to the Yoast plugin? We’ve never seen such thing after years in business using Yoast on our clients’ websites.

Hi xicare, I’ve actually found out from the help of the really cool guys at Event Espresso [link redacted] that you can easily recover your admin role by creating a new one, naming it “Administrator” and the slug “administrator”, checking all boxes and creating a new “capability” named “administrator”. Then create another admin, login, navigate to your main admin account, give it the new admin role, logout, come back to your main admin, verify that you have access to all sections of the backend of your website then delete the test admin user.

I’ve tried hours of research and tests and even changing small records in the database but I can’t recover that lost admin role.

I’m now locked out of certain plugins or settings.

Please help!

I understand you need a page for “past dates”.

What’s your goal exactly? On this calendar, like any calendar online, you can simply click on the date on the top right corner and go back in time to check past events.

As all the info is part of the calendar, past, present and future events will be available within the calendar.
Even in terms of user experience, I don’t think I would create a completely different page just for past events, this might confuse your visitors.

Here’s how you fix it:

1-download the Italian .po and .mo files here (I’ve fixed them for you): https://www.dropbox.com/sh/wlo20zmypg071ze/BDrdGiHN3T

2-Use an FTP application such as “Cyberduck”(https://cyberduck.en.softonic.com/mac) or “Filezilla” (https://filezilla-project.org/download.php?show_all=1)

3-log in to where your website files are hosted then locate the following folders:
wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang

4-simply upload the Italian files to this last folder, the one named “lang”, it will probably ask you if you want to replace them, you need to say “yes”

5-refresh your folders/files list, go to your website, refresh the page et voila!

You should be able to see the change.

Should you need to edit more strings (words) into Italian, you can follow Bowoolley’s great advice above.
