I have thought about this. With the previous version there was a quiz page which could be configured to remove the title, and adjust the margins, padding etc…, within the page. This was how I set the questions to appear in the middle of my page. This option has been removed so the question layout seems to be dictated by the overall format. Am I correct?

Yes, I understand the multiple options, the number of the correct choices has to be selected. (If I want 2 correct answers I have to select 2 choices).

What I am saying from my example is:

I chose 2 correct options (indicated in the 1st screenshot). I saved the question.
Then I ran the quiz (only the 1 question in the quiz, to test). The answer appeared as incorrect (2nd screen shot).
Upon re accessing the question, an extra item has been checked (not by me).

I have created several quizzes on this site and this issue keeps occurring.

Btw,

The image show:

1. Writing the question and options and saving either manually or automatically. I usually wait until the manual option is available, then save.
2. The test question answer indicating the incorrect option. As this is a multiple answer question, there should be selected answers, not 1.
3. Going back into the quiz question, a new option has been highlighted.

This happens on a regular basis, which means I have had to redo the quizzes several times in some cases.

Wrong choice of word. What I meant is the summary link, which used to open the summary list of the questions in green. If you wanted to check any of the answers you could click on the question and it opened up the answers.

I will try the upgrade, and see if this solves the problem. Thanks.

The upgrade to 4.9.3 fixed the issue. This obviously refreshed the DB.

I used code snippets to add the php code you provided.

Is there a refresh delay on updating the page?

So far it is not working.

I have done a debug of the sidebar and it shows as “sidebar 1”
and it reads “always show”

Do I need to remove this?

I don’t quite understand why this is an archive page. It is the page which people go to to see the course choices, then they select the appropriate course.
It is not a page which is going to change historically so I can’t understand how this has happened.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have worked out the problem. You have to enable the redirection tab, save, then it appears and let’s you chose the page you want to redirect to.
