this is the url that shows as a broken image link at header area of blog.

paste it in the browser and it works. place it in any other wp blog and it works. but not is specified blog. strange. if i try to add it in the any of the blog’s post/pages, won’t show. in the media library, the thumbnail doesn’t show, but as you can see, it created the url.

sorry, should have just said absolute url, from an ‘outside’ domain from my blog. lol.

so that’s why i don’t know what would cause it not to show. you can see the broken image link in header section of this page:

hi,

tried this but it seemed to make width smaller. (padding maybe?) thanx for replying though. i basically set the theme back to default settings and will most likely change blog theme.

this code worked for me but only for “posts”. hard time trying to google related info on how to change “Page” width (global, not just frontpage/static page)

is there a different code for ‘Pages” available? (width edit)

i use WP Twenty Seventeen theme.

oops, i meant to say i used your “No Page Comment” plugin. my bad

thanx for reply. i couldn’t locate a setting to ‘enable’ comments on pages. (don’t know if it’s because of the wp theme i’m using, whatevuh ??

anywayz, i used this plugin “No Page Comment” and that seemed to take care of the problem post haste.

make sure that when you use the default (wp-content/uploads) it looks like this:

wp-content/uploads

and NOT like this:
/wp-content/uploads/

OR wp-content/uploads/

OR /wp-content/uploads

or images won’t show.
