I do appreciate the response finally, but we have moved in a different direction and are now doing a full site redesign, so it’s moot now. But maybe you can help out ramarie with the similar issue in case it is something that could affect others.
Unfortunately, no, I could not find a fix for the problem, and never got any response from Foo on the issue. Very disappointed.
But is it your feeling that the errors are plugin related, or theme related? If they are theme related, then it’s not the plugin developers to support (though I did contact the plugin support anyway – just haven’t heard back yet).
My fear is the js problems are in the theme code, and since the theme developer disappeared, I’m SOL. Sigh.
I do appreciate your quick reply ??
oh, these were the errors I got in dev tools.. if helpful.

Absolutely – THANK YOU. Will do right now.
My apologies. I did not follow the support threat template:
– WordPress up to date? YES
– NextGEN up to date? YES
– What version of NextGEN Gallery did you upgrade from? (i.e. I had 1.9.8, then upgraded to 1.9.12) DID NOT OCCUR AFTER AN UPGRADE. Have had NextGEN for many versions, I don’t know the first. I do not know if lightboxes ever worked.(please confirm the following, with your server host tech) :
– MySQL up to date (at least 5.2.4)? YES – 5.5.34-log
– PHP up to date (at least 5.0)? YES 5.2.17
– The mod_rewrite Apache module activated?
– PHP Safe Mode OFF? YESAdditional information that will help us find a solution:
– Who are you hosted with? BLUE HOST
– What theme are you running? VERSE
– Which plugins do you have installed and activated?
— Advanced Excerpt – Advanced Text Widget – Ajax Contact – Akismet – BackupBuddy – Black Studio TinyMCE – Calendar (Kieran O’Shea) – Category Posts Widget – Comprehensive Google Map Plugin – Promotion Slider – WishList Member – WP-Mail-SMTP – WP Show IDs—– Does this error still occur if you switch your theme to the WP default, and deactivate all plugins except NextGEN Gallery? (*be sure to clear your browser cache and reload your site after deactivating) YES – deactivated ALL, still occurred. ??

In reply to: Feeling like this paid theme is stopping my success? Should I can it?Well, either you are scamming us by posting to this forum to get clicks, or you’re falling into scammy traps. I clicked your link, and immediately my security software starts blaring audible warning at me, and your URL redirects to https://sites.securepayment.net. Moderators, you might want to remove this post as the link is listed as harmful, see screenshot below.
OK – in talking with gravity forms support, it appears that I should indeed be able to have this one form submit a new subscriber to Constant Contact and proceed to PayPal for the transaction processing. But I’ve tested it numerous times, and it’s not working.
I’ve set up the form’s feed in the PayPal section and in the Constant Contact section of admin… and I mapped the name and email fields in the Constant Contact. Any ideas why this isn’t working would be great. Thanks!

In reply to: How to 301 redirect all pages of root site to a new subdirectoryWhile waiting for a reply, I did more Googling. I found the following suggestion, which I tried, and it worked.
RewriteEngine on RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://www.newdomain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
I don’t know why my first attempts were causing the infinite loop. I’ve now read about a zillion pages in trying to research this so I don’t even recall what lines of code I put in that caused it.
I hope this will retain the SEO from the old site, if anyone has any cautions, do let me know.
Hope this will help someone else in the future.
Shoky – appreciate your response and that may be a way to do this, but I would very much like to know how to do it using the plugin itself with no additional plugins to rely on. I’ve seen this asked multiple times on this forum with no answer, and I contacted the plugin developer directly with no response as of yet but am hopeful to hear back.
This is SUCH an amazing plugin, and it obviously can do just about anything, but part of the problem is the lack of documentation/user guide. Providing shortcodes is AWESOME, but I can’t find any reference how to hard-code your own templates using straight php and tags, rather than shortcodes. I love that you can use conditionals with the shortcode, but can you only use “if” or can you use ANY conditionals? Some examples would be really helpful, if so.
I have spent over six logged hours so far on this for my client (and we had budgeted two hours to implement, so I’m eating this time) and have nothing to show for it yet. Perhaps if I were a better PHP coder I would already have figured this out, but if I were a better PHP coder I wouldn’t need to rely on plugins for these things ??
For my client, they will ONLY use this plugin if they can have the Jobs List broken out exactly the way Neziah explained in his question above. So I’m in this position of figuring it out, or I don’t know what, since there are no other job manager plugins of this caliber. I know it is possible to be done, I just can’t find any answer of HOW it can be done, if it can be in the plugin’s current state.
Really, really frustrated and do not want to give up on this plugin!

Me too…. anyone know how to do this?
Thanks for the update – it works. If I may, however, make some suggestions from a user perspective… While technically, yes, you can now get directions, a few enhancements would be helpful.
1. When you hover over the marker, it shows the address and long/lat. Why would a user then click the marker? They have no way of knowing that if you click, you are given an option for directions. I suggest adding a “Get Directions” link to the bubble, don’t require a click.
2. Nitpicky, but “Get Directions Here” sounds funny to me. “Click for Directions” seems more professional or something.
3. Once you click “Get Directions” a text box appears, with a little map icon next to it. The text box is not labeled with “add your address” or “add starting address.” Furthermore, the map icon does not look like a clickable button so it may not be obvious that’s the submit button. (Please consider audiences that are not computer savvy. My client’s audience is very likely to need very intuitive interfaces, many are not everyday computer users).
3. The directions that are returned are not at all user-friendly. A box displays below the map with suggested routes, but does not specify to click a suggested route for directions; When you do click for directions, they all get mashed into that tiny box so it’s pretty hard to read them. But the most important omission… where’s the option to print the directions? An absolute must!
Please know I’m not trying to be overly critical, just offering what I think are very important considerations from the user perspective…
