Coud it be related to wordfence firewall? I’ve had issues with upload before with wordfence firewall activated. Here is the message. I get it with the latest version of php v5.6 and 7.0.

@mathias were you able to figure this out? I am having the same problem. One or two pictures showing up, but none of the others. I’ve disabled all plugins except jetpack and changes the theme, and disabled minification, compression, deferring, and caching. Thanks in advance for taking the time to help!!

Looks like it’s working!!!!! I think it just needed a little time to propagate.
