As it happens I’ve uninstalled Polylang and reinstalled it and the issue appears to be fixed.

Because I childed the main theme a created a different default page so for the sake of the test you suggested I copied the original default page into the child folder and called it orig-page.php and so I created a test page and: it works!!!

Now it is clear that I am doing something wrong on the custom pages, do you have any ideas what that can be?

I’d like to add that when comparing the original page and the one I created all I have added extra is the following div:

@wpyogi and @andrew, Apologies if my reply came across a bit harsh, it just seems that I get a moderator to pick up on my posts all the time these days and I am feeling quite frustrate with this, let alone, I haven’t found a solution to my problem in a week. I genuinely want to solve my issue and that this can be of help for the community, there are in fact similar problems that haven’t been resolved on this forum.

I have of course installed plugins that allow for some of the embedding methods displayed above.

Do moderators take much pleasure in finding anything against the rules?

I have been researching on this issue for long time and can’t find any information on the entire net and I believe the theme I use is a very popular open source blank framework that is used by many developers as a starter of major themes. IMHO getting to the bottom of this issue will be of great benefit for the community.

Sorry Sir, but I think you should review first the theme I am talking about here and all the dimensions of my issue before enforcing the rules without thinking.

But don’t see the video at all even tho it is on the source code of the page.

Hi I have the same problem and it’s obviously related to my theme as if I change to Twenty eleven my video iframes display perfectly, I am using a blank framework theme which I have never had problems with before, tried deactivating all plugins and the problem still persists.

When I open Inspect Element in Chrome I see the following rendering error:

If you are using Chrome, right click on the image you want to know the class for and choose “inspect element”, in Firefox you can download an add on called firebug or developer bar and then find a similar option.

Try deactivating all your plugins first. if it goes back to normal then maybe one of the plugins is playing up with the new version.

If that is the case start switching them back on one by one until you find the cultrit or culprits.

Find if the broken plugins have got updates on the website and see how it goes it they don’t find an alternative.

1. Download Chrome browser.
2. Highlight your side bar and right-click on it.
3. Choose inspect element and see what’s the CSS tag for the section (typically “sidebar”)
4. go back to the dashboard
3. Appereance > editor
4. Key: control f
5. Find the css tag (ie. sidebar)
6. find the width line within it (Ie. width: 600px)
7. change it
8. Save
9. reload the webpage and see what happens
10. play with sizes
11. repeat

I tried the plugin in and it is really good, problem is, it only overrides the default CSS for ALL the pages, for example I want to change “entry-title” but just for an specific Archives Page, to do so I’d like to have a completely new CSS tag called for example “entry-title-archives” so I don′ t change the styling across the board.

Does anyone knows where the CSS tags are generated for the content?
