thankyou lorro, that did the trick! Now I have a drop down for the state instead of a text box, which is what I wanted.

I’m curious about your solution, targetburo…
I’ve had the same issue but w/ my state field on ‘checkout’, it appears for a brief moment, then vanished & orders cannot be fulfilled w/out this field. So far I as well installed the checkout field editor, which is great for removing unwanted fields, but did not solve my issue. So, what’s the trick? is there a specific Javascript file you located that was causing the conflict?

dealing w/ the same issues, trying not to have to upload nearly every image again.

Actually a re-install of WordPress did the trick.

never mind, found them, the only irritating thing is that my color & typography settings were reset, but I’m grateful I can log in again. Thanks for your advice interweb forum.

yes, it was a corrupt plug-in,( i thought i deleted it in a directory but there was a duplicate in another that was the target file) although I did lose a lot of ground, probably got a little too ambitious in my attempt to troubleshoot and lost, all, yes, all of my plug-ins. I do have wp2db as well as the regular backup that sends a file to my e-mail. Any suggestions on how I may recover these settings?

Forgive me if I am not posting in the right spot, but I seem to have created a problem for myself when trying to tweak the Woocommerce PHP for my site. What was an attempt to remove a button ( I did have luck removing elements from another page), has turned into me getting a blank screen when I try to go to my dashboard, no 404,nothing but empty white screen, no site, white space.
I have since accessed my Cpanel where I located and removed the tweaked PHP with a freshly downloaded one, but still I am dead in the water. ANY advice as to how else I may try to get out of the mess I put myself in? I do have WP2backup as well, not to mention there is a backup wizard on the Cpanel.

Excellent suggestions, but none of that works. The problem with switching to default themes is that they do not use the page builder that is part of my WYNN theme. I can switch themes, but all my content needs to be added, nothing translates over, and there is no page builder to troubleshoot as far as I can tell.
I’ve also contacted the developer of the theme as well to see if any other of their customers are experiencing the same issues.

I am experiencing the same issues since updating to 3.9 as well as 4.0. The greyed out transparent screen that appears on all the pages I’m trying to edit. I have deactivated all my plugins, one by one, and still no dice. I am not really interested in switching to a default theme, my sites built around one i’ve purchased, which i’m happy with. I’ve been following the threads and can see this issue seems to be persistent, can’t say i’ve been able to figure this out. Open to suggestions…
