Hi Jeremy, yes that is possible

however when I have done that same day they still publish.

I guess the only way round it is if I am doing a post that I don’t publish that day, I just copy and paste what I have done to a new post

    Hi Jeremy

Okay so to make publisice not work:

Start a post, perhaps at work or at home, it doesn’t matter.
    Save Draft.
    Continue Editing and Saving Drafts.
Shut down PC at the end of the night.
Boot up PC to work on the post again.
Work on the post again, editing saving drafts etc.
    Publish the post.

    –it doesn’t publicize.

however if I Start a new post, I can save drafts etc, as long as it is all one “session” I can then post and it will publicize.

I have even tried copying posts that didn’t publicize from the html view into new posts and posting them – it works.

Sorry for the delayed response – I have now turned email notifications on.

Interesting – I think it created that folder itself when I set up the link…

Or maybe I did it when trying to get it to work.

Either way it works now – thank you.

Now all I need to do is forward my domain there and voila ??

    Hi,

Yes I checked the forum and I google searched. I couldn’t find anything to help me past the changes I made to getting it on directory mode instead of subdomain mode.

I think I have actually worked out the problem.

For some reason if I save a draft and work on it another day and post – it doesn’t publicize

If I write and post or schedule on the same day it does publicize

So my “work around” is that I copy the HTML into a new post before submitting.

    all very strange.

I’ve got it up to 84….
And I seem to have got the beta site which is hosted on a friends local connection running (fiber) as fast as the VPS that doesnt have the advanced caching stuff…

however even though I have tried the various non-blocking methods provided for the JS – JS, DEFERED and ASYNCH… it still came up with the message that I needed to use non blocking methods…

It also doesn’t improve my google page speed… even though it improves my pge speed… but certain elements don’t load properly (like buttons, or my ticker.. fine once loaded and refreshed, but first load they don’t work)

okay… so now I am confused.. it would seem that things are now getting a much better google response time on the beta site from google page speed.

up to 82… and the red errors mentioned previously are now yellow errors…

I guess it just took a while for the changes to take effect even though I had been purging the cache etc…

hopefully i can get this to 100

In fact it now seems to just not work at all again.

Could it be that I included images and links in my posts?

I don’t know.. but it seems publisize doesn’t want to work…

Is there any way to make it work on previous entries?
It has missed so many now…

    Hi Jeremy,

I’ve sent a few emails over the last couple of weeks but not had a response.

I assume it is probably just being busy with christmas, but thought I would post here in case my emails have been lost.

Things that have caused publisize to not work.

    • Linked In Connection
    • Using the <!–nextpage–> tag in a post
    • Using “Amazon Products” – a feature of affiliate review plus which lets me select some products to be included in my review.

It would seem that at least these 3 things cause Publisize to not work… if nextpage doesnt work I imagine other tags like the more tag don’t work.

I will keep you posted with any others I find, but for now these are ones I have found.

Is there any way I can fix this?

Hi, I have done as you instructed however once I pressed send it took me to the “contact support” page on jetpack.me rather than give me a confirmation that the email has been sent.. so I have no clue if it has.

in case it didn’t come across for any reason here is the email I sent

Hi, as per the thread on the forum where you requested me to use the debugger and send you an email – which returned “Your Jetpack setup looks a-okay!”

I installed Jetpack a couple of weeks ago in the hope to override the need for me to use my twitterfeed to post for me.

I set up facebook, twitter, linked in and Tumblr.

none of these work (luckily have the twitter feed still running as an external service)

I have tried disconnecting them, and connecting them to different pages/services but no Joy.

Any help that can be offered would be great.

further to this I just got a notice saying there might be a problem with my linked in connection.

I tried to refresh.. no joy.

I then removed the connection and tried to add it and get this:

“There was a problem creating your connection. Please go back and try again.”

    and also

An invalid request was made. This normally means that something intercepted or corrupted the request from your server to the Jetpack Server. Try again and see if it works this time.

    Error code: 400

I am not sure if it is related, but assumed it might be so thought I would let you know…

the sharing has never worked, however connecting to linked in used to…
