I can’t thank Kirill enough for finding me and giving my problem his personal attention and assistance! I hope I’m not the only one that had this problem, but it’s definitely fixed now and I’m proudly using Tweet Blender again on my site ??

I’ve tried all of the Twitter search plugins, and this one is by far the best for aesthetics -and- utility. I highly recommend giving it a try if you haven’t — there are so many possible uses for a quality Twitter search plugin like this one.

I have the same issue too on first-run. I really don’t feel like I should have to change anything on my end to make the plugin work if it’s well-developed.

I’ll deactivate and try again after updates. Sounds like a marvelous idea if it worked.

Today’s update still didn’t fix anything. Tweet Blender simply doesn’t work for me no matter how I change settings. It either says “Initializing” or “Loading”, but never loads a thing. It used to work just fine before the advanced settings update. Plus, the info URL always shows the author’s plugin page, not the URL I add.

I’m really disappointed ??

Today’s update didn’t fix anything for me. The loader just spins, and doesn’t load anything.

Alot of plugins do that. Maybe you should go through your settings before publishing something nasty. I use Better Tag Cloud and like it ALOT!

I haven’t seen any response to my questions here, so I’ve switched to Article Templates.

It’s gotten worse with the 2.8.1 upgrade ?? I can’t access existing templates to attempt to edit them — or try to create a new one. I can’t even do anything on the plugin options page. Every attempt produces this error message!

“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

Please fix the plugin or remove it. It’s almost worthless as is.

This topic is NOT RESOLVED! I’ve been getting the same message since the upgrade too — and it’s driving me nuts.

Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the public

To correct this issue, move the .htaccess file from wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager to /home/**********/public_html/wp-content/backup-db

I’ve checked and double-checked and there IS NO SUCH file in the plugin folder. I searched .htaccess to find the file locations and it’s definitely not there.

But I keep getting this annoying message on every admin page. I really like this plugin, but it seems that the only way to turn off the false message is to deactivate it.

I can’t find settings now and the update broke my Shadowbox JS. Once I deactivated NewsTweet, my Shadowbox photos are working perfectly again.

I wish ukgeoff2 had posted his resolution. I’m having the same problem now and it’s been driving me nuts.

Right now I have all my notes in a Greasemonkey script called “Store notes for every website”, but I’d like to use something more specific. I like that your plugin makes frequently used text available right in the post template.

I was showing the tweets for “giveaway”. It worked great for awhile — so it’s possibly a conflict with other plugins. I’ve been using NewsTweet in the postTabs plugin with no problem.

I’m at https://theluckyladybug.org/ , but I removed the widget today since it hasn’t been showing anything. I’m using the default RSS widget now. It’s not as pretty as yours with the user icons.
