about using the plugin “my category” (see wp plugin) for control over this

there is a simple way to do this
create 3 databases on your server
main-DB second-DB third-DB
install your main WP and connect it to main-DB
ftp to your server and create inide the main wp a folder /second/
install inside second-wp and connect it to second-DB
create another folder in the main wp /third/ and do the same

in fact

root (wp 1)
/wp-admin
/wp-include
/wp-content
/second (wp-2)
/third (wp-3)

use then feedburner to crawl the site for rss

If I would be in your place I would clean up the whole thing (your datas are in your Database), reinstall a new WP (fresh) and try to reconnect the Database to the WP.

Before make sure to backup your DB and ABSOLOUTLY download a copy of the DB to your Computer

Having 108 post and about 2000 tags and 350 categories the Plateforme seems to die …
so what ?

I sure like this Word Press but is this only to post 25 words phrase and 2 tags or can this be used to build a real site with huge lots of datas ?

I had this problem last week until I found out that if the registered user are not “suscriber” categorized they will be added in the “author” list and A B C sorted.
The post is always attributed to the first in the list.

To get ride of this I place all the registered user in (suscriber)

I am facing the same problem as every post are way far over 10.000
