I got this by clicking on the image and hope it helps.

I changed it back to the default theme and have not decided on a theme until I fix this image problem. Not sure about the 403 error.

I have no plugins yet. Even deleted the default ones. Just setting this up.
Switched to the Twenty Twelve and Thirteen and no change. Even installed a theme from the install themes list. Nothing

Hot linking is disabled. Any other thoughts?

Anti-hotlinking? Never heard of that and how does it work?

It seemed that the SSL was creating the problem, so the htaccess file was changed. Everything is now working.

I am going to check the permissions as you mentioned.

Yes and it is still the same. These are sub-menus that do not contain the posts. All the other sub-menus from being set-up months ago work. These are recently set-up.

I clicked on “view post” in the edit post section. It shows the post in the menu, but not in the sub-menu. But when I click on the menu outside of the dashboard (using browser)it is not in the menu or sub-menu.

I have a featured image in the posts. Tried changing the permalinks settings but that didn’t work.

Any other thoughts?

No. That is about videos and images. My issue is that specific posts are not appearing on specific pages.

I just wrote a post and put it on a page titled (in the menu) Artist Interviews. That worked. But when I write a post for Marketing or Advertising (these are pages and menu items) they are not showing after I post them.

Specific posts not showing. I wrote several posts to place in different pages on the menu.

I wrote a post to be put into the “Advertising” page/menu and another for the “Marketing” and “Video”. They did not show and these are new menu items.

All other posts have been OK.

Anyone does JavaScript that could be hired for this? I am not familiar with it, but would like to have it done. Unless there is a plug-in?
