Thanks for answering – Apologize for late reply. This only concerns my site. It is a (test)site on localhost on my PC.
I’m using: win xp Home sp3/xampp 3.2.1/wp 3.4.2/Firefox 28.0

Everything else is working fine – both with this Smpl Skeleton site and the other wp test sites on my localhost. As this does not seem to be a reported issue on live sites, it is probably only related to my localhost configuration.

Cassihl – is your site on localhost too?

Thanks a lot for replying! Do you know if any relevant theme is “pushing” previous news items further down when a new item is published (at the top), or anything about the process to “push” items further down on a template when new items are added?

I realise my requests are probably achievable with WP. I am familiar with PHP on a basic level, but not skilled enough to develop a complete theme myself.
