    hi @vladff
don’t know what happened. BUT…. On the Slider mobile the font is some points bigger now AND there’s a bigger “desaster” with the colors. Main Menu colors are as before now. BUT on normal pages the background is grey now and when I switch to the 2.10 it’s all as before.
So there’s definitely a change in the update regarding the background color.
When I set the background color to white, also the container is white as it should be. Is this the new sydney-color-setting or is this a bug?

I had to roll back to 2.12 since this problem came up now.
If you need more information, tell me but you can test it with a basic sydney installation when you set a background color (not for the inner container but outside the padding).

    Hi @vladff
    thank you for your response!
Means that now if I update from 2.10 to 2.12 it will all stay the same as in 2.10?

    Thank you in advance!

    hi @kharisblank
in today’s update 2.12 there was no change of the padding, right? Just the colors until now?

Is there a guess on when the padding will be fixed?

    Thanks in advance!!

    Hi @vladff
    checked it now:

    the underline workaround would work.
    The container-inner padding works also
and the mobile padding works also.
Will this be implemented in the next update so the Sydney Users won’t need to set up the CSS by default?

And what’s remaining is the outside-padding.
Because on the PC-View and also Mobile view the outside-margin increased and made the pages more narrow (as marked on my screenshots in the link above)

    How can I solve this?

    Also a question:
the code #mainnav ul li a:not(:hover) {color: #fff !important;} is needed as workaround or does it the same job if I set the color for the top-layer-menu-items in the customizer colors->Header ?

    Thank you very much!!

@daniel1478 the margin on your mobile view also increased? Because That’s one of the main problems in my opinion with the 2.11 update

So I checked on my local installation now, if there’s any option to change this.

Yes, the text color is easily changeable. But the underline color remains red because it’s not anymore linked to the main-color.

And the margin on the smaller screens is also appearing everytime so the content is much more compressed on the mobile-screen and not as full-width as it could be.

And the PC-view also has some changes as mentioned above where I didn’t find the possibilities to make the adjustments.

    How should we proceed?

Thank you very much in advance!

    Hi @vladff
    thanks for your quick response!
I can’t upgrade on the live productive site for layout-reasons and only have local test-areas.
But attached you see, what’s changed:

    Can’t change the underline-color
get a strange margin on the mobile and the text is also smaller
also on the PC-view the relations change with a smaller content area with additional margin.
and the title color is resetted.

see this link attached with the screenshots:

Hi Kharis, thank you for your response,
since it’s a local installation, there is no link available, but I try to describe it better:

With the new header from sydney (that one that was introduced some months ago) I’m testing locally if I should switch to the new header on the productive system.

I’ve seen, that I can change the font-color of the menu BUT not of the “sub-menu” points.
For example if the menu contains the object “products” and products list “product1,product2,product3” and so on, I can’t modify the font-color of the sub-menu. Only from the “top-level” menu-entries.

under Customizer-> Header->main Header I get the following options for style:

    Background Color

Text Color — adapts also the color of the menu-entries

    Submenu Background

Submenu Color – adapts the color of the submenu-entries. BUT not the hover

menupoints Hover (or something like that-my language is German) — adapts JUST the main-menu-hover. But not the color of the submenu.

    Does this help you?

    Have a great day!

    Hi @kharisblank ,
do you have any news on this?
The more text you add to the hero-slider, the worse is the CLS value.
I think this is because it’s flying in from the right side. If it just were there without the flying effect, there would be a way better CLS value.

Please give us some feedback on this.
    Thank you in advance!

    Thank you!!
I didn’t find a exclusion list – would it be a problem if the file was backupped and restored or does the ninja firewall manage it without problems?

    @kharisblank thanks for your reply!
In fact it’s an additional minor bug maybe, because the error message makes, that the Slider-Image is stretched in the customizer view if the error-messages can be shown. On my live-environment the error messages aren’t displayed on the top-section of the page and thus everything is shown normally ??

Just for you to info, if there’s something needed to adapt ??

This error also occured here on a php 7.4 environment WITHOUT PLUGINS and without child-theme:
Warning: array_merge(): Expected parameter 1 to be an array, null given in C:\xampp\htdocs\backuptest\wp-content\themes\sydney\inc\customizer\options\upsell.php on line 13

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in C:\xampp\htdocs\backuptest\wp-content\themes\sydney\inc\customizer\options\upsell.php on line 13

Warning: array_merge(): Expected parameter 1 to be an array, null given in C:\xampp\htdocs\backuptest\wp-content\themes\sydney\inc\customizer\options\upsell.php on line 42

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in C:\xampp\htdocs\backuptest\wp-content\themes\sydney\inc\customizer\options\upsell.php on line 42

doesn’t occur in 2.03 but occurs in 2.04 and 2.05
