In reply to: WordPress Mobile App ResourcesHelp, my site is down!
If you can’t access your site in a web browser, please contact your website hosting provider.
Your hosting provider can investigate why your site isn’t working, and help you get it back up and running. The WordPress app can only connect to your site when WordPress is installed and working there, so if you can’t access your site at all, the app will not work.
You can also check the Common WordPress Errors support page for common problems and how to resolve them on your site.

In reply to: WordPress Mobile App ResourcesI forgot my login information.
You can go to your WordPress login page (https://example.com/wp-login.php) and click on the ‘Lost your password?’ link.
After clicking on that, it will take you to the password reset page. You need to either enter your username or email address to reset the password on your account.
If you’re having trouble logging in to your site on the web browser as well as on the app, please reach out to your host (the company you pay to host your website) for assistance.

In reply to: WordPress Mobile App ResourcesWhy can’t I log in? It says there’s an XML-RPC error.
XML-RPC is how the WordPress app communicates with your site, so your site’s XML-RPC endpoint must be accessible.
If you have a fully updated WordPress install, you can use our XML-RPC troubleshooter found here: https://xmlrpc.blog/
If the XML-RPC troubleshooter finds an error on your site, please check with your hosting provider to find out if they are blocking access to this file and if it’s possible to change this.
These errors can also happen if there is a plugin/theme that conflicts with XML-RPC. To check whether a plugin is causing the conflict with the app, try deactivating all the plugins on your self-hosted site to see whether that fixes the issue.
