    This kind of problem is sometimes caused by either a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. Please rule out a theme issue or a plugin conflict.

    I recommend testing things on a staging site rather than on your production (live) site. Many hosts provide a staging service, where you can do testing without affecting the live site. You can ask your host about this. If they don’t give you a staging site, you could try WP Staging or Duplicator:

    First, temporarily switch to Twenty Twenty-Two, which is one of the default WordPress themes. You can do this by installing a plugin that only switches the theme for the current user, linked below:

    See if the problem resolves. If it does, you’ll need to contact your theme’s developer to see if they can help you troubleshoot.

    If things still don’t work properly with Twenty Twenty-Two, please try checking for conflicting plugins.

    To do so, temporarily disable all plugins except WP Job Manager (and related addons), and see if the issue resolves. If it does, try activating your plugins one-by-one and try to reproduce the problem. If it comes back when you activate a particular plugin, you’ve found the culprit.

    A side-note—before you deactivate your plugins, we recommend that you make a full backup of your site.

    HI! It looks like the Recent Jobs widget is not an option in block-based themes. I had to switch to the Twenty Nineteen theme before I saw it available.

    • Page Views: This includes the total number of times the job page has been viewed.
    • Unique Visits: This counts the number of distinct visitors who have viewed the job page.
    • Interest Indicators: This includes clicks on the “Apply” button, which indicates potential interest in the job.
    • Search Impressions: This measures how often the job listing has appeared in search results on your website.

    Search impressions are dynamic and only counted when a listing is scrolled into view on the visitor’s?screen.

    While there’s no built-in option for this functionality in the plugin’s settings, you can achieve a similar effect by overriding the templates/job-filter-job-types.php template to have all job types deselected when a user first visits the job listing page. However, it’s important to note that this will also initially hide all jobs because no filters are applied.

    I tested on my website and I was able to add the URL https://monadnockfood.coop/our-co-op/careers/ to the Application email/URL field in the job editor. The job published without any errors.

    Hi! I tried testing this on my website and I was able to successfully add the URL https://identity.coop/ to both the Application email/URL field and the Website?(optional) field.

    It appears that you have isolated the issue to the Divi and Avada themes. Please be aware that WP Job Manager doesn’t fully support all third-party themes or all outdated themes. That said, the tips on this page might be useful:

      Does the Job Listings >?Hide expired listings?setting ONLY apply to the core WPJM plugin and NOT to the Application Deadline add-on as well?

      Yes, that’s correct. Closing dates (which are created by the Application Deadline addon) indicate the last date applications will be accepted, while expiration dates are the last dates that a job will be listed. The Hide expired listings setting is a feature of the core WP Job Manager plugin.

      The Application closing date is not the expiration date – if there is no expiration, the listings will stay after the Application Closing Date has passed, but it will say?Applications have closed?on the listing.

      Hi @fooey!

      We recently noticed that the recaptcha does not show when initially trying to post a job.?

      Are you using reCAPTCHA v2 or v3? I would like to know so we can try to replicate this on our test sites.

      Also, the submit button is missing. Now it shows preview and save draft. The settings are such that it does not need to be approved by admin.

      This is the way it’s supposed to work.

      The preview page shows the job details which have been submitted in the style of a single job listing. From the preview page, the user may click “Edit” to change the details of their listing, or “Submit” to submit their listing for viewing or approval (depending on your?settings).
