Yeah, Direkt. It was me, Tetk or Ties (real name). If you change the URI in mysql again to localhost or local IP number, then one can work at own or second pc at home again. Would’nt it be an idea that this field in the mysql database is changing to local URI if a browser request comes from a local pc or to outside IP number if coming from an outside browser request? Problem would be if a second user woul brows to the URI from outside…..Pity, but my PHP knowledge is little compared to yours

Question: As I cannot work via my Dell now (the pc where it is installed) as I only see the sidebar there, does it mean I need acces from an outside my house pc?

Yes, it would be nice to use my other pc (XP) for monitoring/changing/adding items. Because the DELL is also an FTP server for family photos for thefamily living everywhere. So if you have a good solution for that, I think that would be useful, also to others

But anyway thanks for this I will close this item and check it as solved (or do you want to give the solution right away?)

Well, I did, now I get only the side bar on my pc’s, but maybe you are able to see my face now. lol

fyi: I have an ADSL router, where port 80 is routed to the Dell PC

Both my inside IP address. Must it be my outside address??

Stupid me, I had not switched it on. Sorry. It is switched on now. I noticed (but I don’t know if that has something to do with the sidebar problem) that the site reacts slow.

It should work now, (it does on my 2nd pc)

Hi, Well, I did put back all original WP-xxxx files from the install software. Then I went to someone and viewed my site on his pc. Still the same. Only the left side bar visible. Login not possible etc.
Do you have any other idea
