I’m having the same problem after we changed security settings, in that rather than showing the specific post/title/intro/thumbnail when we post the link, we are only seeing the general website URL. Did you ever find a solution? Thanks in advance for sharing any information!

I resolved this a while back, but here’s the solution that worked. MindVerge, hopefully this will work for you.

Just wanted to thank you…this worked perfectly! I only wanted to add an “intro” block to the left of the three featured pages so I was able to create my own html/css for that section. Awesome!

I had tried deactivating plugins and then finally got on the phone with my hosting service late last night. There was something odd going on that had to be fixed server-side.

Campingninja, you may have to go this same route, as the function was working fine on other sites, just not this one (all that use the same hosting service).
