You don’t need to make the child theme to just change the font and color of that section. It was default and if you want to change it, Please add the below CSS codes on Appearance > customize > additional CSS,

font-family: unset;
}

We checked your site link in mobile device and there is no header part found. The section only starts from the Menu. Are you able to remove it yourself? If not, please let us know, we will help you on that.

Thank you so much for living our theme and thanks a lot for your interest for the premium version as well. Premium version has the sticky menu, you can see in the demo. https://www.templatesell.net/demo/polite-lite/ There is option in the customizer to enable sticky menu for mobile devices as well. Because of the small screensize of the mobile, we have disabled it via the customizer in the demo.

If you use the premium version, you will get more other features too.
