Okay, I think there just might have been a glitch in the Matrix, the DOMs and all that seems to be working fine now.

I did a search for DOM and I think I have an idea what it is, but I still do not understand how this affects this plugin or that I broke it? And if it is broken, how do I fix this? Apologies for sounding elementary, but I’ve never had to deal with DOMs.

I would like to try this plugin, I have downloaded the free version but I have the following problems/questions please:

1. I would like to add an intro text before the post splitting begins but I can’t seem to do that. I have even placed the intro in a different text box in Visual Composer and then the split content in a different box, still it doesn’t work.

2. The text comes out with the pagination and the arrows, but when I click NEXT, the screen goes blank. Also, at the bottom of the first page, I can see “Page 5 of 5” and I’m not sure why.

It is fixed now. Not sure exactly what the problem was but I re-installed the latest version of WordPress, uninstalled a couple buggy plugins, and everything started working fine.

nix255, thank you so much, you’re fab! That totally worked and I’m not even particularly techy. I uninstalled the plugin via FTP and then installed it via WP the normal way (I hate to download the folder and all that gumpf), activated, deactivated, then reactivated again.

Just restating it for anyone who needs it that I did not need to install via FTP.

Thanks for the prompt response! Yes, I can see “Events” in the left navigation, but it is only offering me – Tags, Import, Settings, Events Add-Ons. No way to actually add a new event ??

Actually, I think I have sorted it out now. Thank you all for trying. It was something to do with the theme and not WordPress per se.

No, I mean that if I wrote approx 5 posts, 3 are being visible on the front page.

@computerselfemployment – I do want the static page to be the home page. I wanted to model the site exactly as it is on the theme page. However, when you scroll down under the header, there should be a part for posts to be visible. I would have thought that these posts would be in chronological order, but it just seems to skip some posts arbitrarily.

@mobilunity – Yup, I’m all set up for 10 posts per page. I did not change the default. The Next/Prev buttons are working; point is that some posts are simply not there on the front end.

Sorry, found an article on it on ye olde internet – apparently, the geniuses at WP have thought of this too!

One more question please: can I start on WP dot com and then later migrate to dot org without losing my archives? Even if I use a free theme?
