In reply to: [Facebook] Scheduled Posts not appearing on facebook timelineAn ongoing problem that the developers refuse to even acknowledge, let alone fix. Why they don’t post about it is anyone’s guess.
It’s gotten to the point where it almost feels deliberate, perhaps they think people scheduling posts are spammers and they withold the functionality so users can’t line up dozens of daily posts for the next year and abandon their project.
3rd party plugins cannot be controlled in this way, yet the official plugin probably takes this line to protect themselves.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Can I rename WC cookies?Okay thanks splashingpixels, thought as much. I probably should’ve left security out of it, that’s more relevant to why I disguse my full WP setup rather than solely Woo.
Thanks again.

In reply to: [WPSocialite] Facebook Like Button Bug.Your cut off problem is CSS related, that sharing window is known as the “Facebook flyout” (Google it) and I had a similar problem.
My solution was to remove an ‘overflow:hidden’ from my website’s main container div (the flyout was cutting off at the edge of the container). Alternatively I think you can try adding ‘overflow:visible !important’ to the div holding the FB button but I haven’t tested that.
Either way, I believe it’s an overflow CSS problem 100% of the time!

In reply to: [Facebook] v1.4 – Still no scheduled posts supportI just tried this app on its own with a clean WP install, no other plugins installed.
My ‘box unchecking’ issue has gone but I maintain, like daveslc says.. the Scheduled posts are not posting to the Facebook timeline.

In reply to: [Custom Field Suite] Not allowed multiple empty options in a dropdown?Ah I see, makes sense.
Temporary fix in my case was to replace the multiple ’empty’ with empty1 :, empty2 :, and (blank) with a hyphen.

In reply to: [SEO Ultimate] Custom post type – Post title default format?Apologies for the very late reply to this, I’ve just taken another look and realised..
If I enter a Title Tag in the SEO Settings meta box of a post it overrides whatever is in the Title Tag Rewriter settings. So if I leave it blank I get the {post} | {blog} as expected.
So if I use custom SEO titles I’ll need to add my blogname manually in the same field, an option for posts with custom titles to automatically add | {blog} would be great in the future, though.
Thanks

In reply to: [Facebook] Social Publisher does not work with scheduled postsHappening with me too (of course, as it hasn’t been fixed).
It’d be really nice if someone on the dev team could at least acknowledge this thread and say ‘sure it’ll be fixed in X weeks/months’ as right now this is extremely frustrating.

In reply to: [Facebook] Schedule doesn't workIt’s because after you click “Schedule” the ‘post to timeline’ meta checkbox on that actual post will untick itself. Thus when the time arrives to publish it, the box is unticked, so it doesn’t post to timeline.
It appears that if post_status = future the plugin doesn’t remember your timeline post/dont post choice.
I hope this bug is high on the devs priority list, it’s really quite a problem!
(please fix it guys!)

In reply to: [Facebook] Social Publisher: Posting to Timeline when I told it not too!Within WP, log in as usual and it should be on your profile settings page (Users > Your Profile in left menu)
I have everything unchecked except for the “Facebook Status on XYZ Timeline” (which is my website’s FB page) meta box when creating a new post.

In reply to: [Facebook] Social Publisher: Posting to Timeline when I told it not too!I may have had a similar problem, my solution was to.. Users > Your Profile and uncheck “Post an article to my Facebook Timeline after it is public.”
Only posts to my FB Page now.

In reply to: [Facebook] Request: Disable Social Publisher per post_typeApologies for bumping again, I really would like to know if what I need is possible here and whether I can do it via functions.php, it’d help MASSIVELY.
What I’d like to do:
– Disable “Facebook Status on xyz.com Timeline” box appearing on specific post_types.– Have the [ ] Post to xyz.com unchecked by default in the above box.
Is there any IF function I can use which would modify the above 2 requests as I need them?
Thanks for your time/help, appreciated.
