I believe I may have found a solution. I looked in the MySql tables at the permissions and I found two entries for Capabilities. One was labeled wp_capabilities and the ther had my prefix and then capabilities. (IE – cfta_capabilities) I noticed that the CFTA one was set as a subscriber. So, I copied the WP permissions (as an Administrator) and pasted it into the cfta_capabilities location. I went back to the WP blog and refreshed.

Did that. Actually even replaced the entire computer. (separate issue) Still doing it.

I’m having the same problem. I think the actual URL from your site would be:

https://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/admin/

I looked at that and it all seems to be fine. The error/problem I’m seeing is when I try to post I get:

“Since you’re a newcomer, you’ll have to wait for an admin to raise your level to 1, in order to be authorized to post.
You can also e-mail the admin to ask for a promotion.
When you’re promoted, just reload this page and you’ll be able to blog. :)”

I’ve just uploaded the software to my site, so there isn’t any other “admin” besides me.
