In reply to: Upgrade to version 3.0.2@pcgrejaldo
Thanks. I didn’t see any .maintenance file, but WP did finally come out of maintenance mode, so I updated the theme manually. The only remaining issues now are:
1: some of the pages’ edit pages are still giving me the message:
“Error 500 – Internal server errorAn internal server error has occured!
Please try again later.”It is only some of the pages, though.
2: I have a persistent notice at the top of the admin pages:
“An automated WordPress update has failed to complete – please attempt the update again now.”Any thoughts?
Again, I really appreciate all your help. Everything you’ve suggested so far has made improvements, so we’re getting there, just not there yet.

In reply to: Upgrade to version 3.0.2Of course, now I tried to update the theme automatically, and now it’s locked in maintenance mode (20 minutes so far). It says the update failed, then automatically tries to do it again. How do I get it out of maintenance mode?

In reply to: How to make WordPress theme the main pageThanks. My question is, though, won’t that make the docs say https://www.mydomain.com/wordpress/page?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: How to make WordPress theme the main pageThat is exactly what I was going to ask.
Follow-up: correct me if I’m wrong, but the folder structure should be mydomain/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-content(etc)/themes(etc)/mytheme
and I should put the above index.php file in the root folder.Forum: Installing WordPress
