I’ve found it depends on who is hosting. I have a blog hosted with APlus.net and the contact form always breaks when updating. My blogs with Bluehost don’t break after updating. I don’t know why this should be, but I just want things to work. So I’m moving my clients to a more reliable host (sorry APlus.)
