So as a tip to people working with ical custom feeds, be sure to edit your files in a proper PHP editor, like notepad++ and save it as UNI-8 WITHOUT BOM, it adds unexpected characters to the start of your ical feed and screws the pooch. Notepad++ -> Encoding -> UNI-8 Without BOM -> Save / FTP UPdate -> Winning
