In reply to: Why using Kubrick on 1.3 is a mistakeLet’s wait for the final product and see how yes?
It won’t be easy incorporating kubrick and yet having the plain good old install that fits on all, that comes with WP.
So let’s see what gets presented to us.Forum: Everything else WordPress
In reply to: BLOG:CMS vs. WordPressOh come on… this guy did *spend 1000 hours on it* (I’m surprised he hasn’t changed it to 1002 or sth) And he’s doing it all for free man…. when he could be charging $5000 a client.
And oh my!! It has the best default looking template. What else do u want…. and look at the hardwork he has put in… The install package has gone from 3mb from 1mb in nucleus. 350kb of documentations!!
That’s bigger then the whole WP installation. So many goodies for you…
all by some egoistical fool -_-“Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: When is 1.3?back up everything….

In reply to: When is 1.3?so far… all my plugins work for both 1.2 and 1.3
those that i’m using anyway.
Index.php differs slightly, in terms of functions called, just here and there.. However, i’m still using my 1.2 index.php on 1.3 And things seem to be working fine….
So… things should work plain fine…Forum: Plugins

In reply to: include errors with nighly 2004-08-10Welll.. i’m one of those who happened to use a ‘broken’ 08-10. However, the updated 08-10 fixed things all up….
But would really appreciate some way to activate all my old plugins at one go…. I had tons of plugins… and had to go through them one by one.
All my plugins work though… except in my admin screen….. my blog name is way too long… so it overflows and looks real ugly.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: Categories, listing entries titles of postsI don’t see what u mean by ‘something simiar’, although I understand what you mean
but I was hoping for something abit more automated….. u know… displaying the last 4 entries in the category kind of thing, but I guess your method works too.Forum: Requests and Feedback

In reply to: Export from WordPressWhat a great script! I’m having a slight problem with it using the latest version of WordPress. It will only spit out one entry and on further investigation seems to choke on the $prev_entry variable. Any hints on how to fix it?

From the page of the backup script for the b2. erm. oh no?? hahaForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Export from WordPressI think u shld give the guy a chance. MT’s tags are lot s lots more easier to understand. And at times… playing around with WP… has given me a fairly big headache…. The tags just arn’t as easy to use and understand. (partly due to documentation… which i’ll say is no fault of WP’s. it’s just well.. I don’t know)
As far as I know… there’s no export tool as yet….. and I don’t think there’s a IMPORT for sure.
However.. i sure would like an export tool… having a softcopy of all my entries will feel good… instead of just a sql backup. if u know what I mean.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Simple way to plug rss feed into html?I can finally help out!! MUAHAHAHHA.
try this one
https://jade.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/feed/
This one you can either use the php file on their server, or download the php file, upload to your server. (it works just fine liddat) Then u can either use javascript…. or normal html to include it
Not what i needed… but sushubh solved what I needed already.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: How to navigate to “next post/previous post”Ok. this is going to make me sound real stupid. But I can’t find any post paged options in the options for the lastest build.
But hey!! Mr X’s code works…. but <?php posts_nav_link() ?> returns blank. Ah wellz. as long as something works!
Thanks to alan and sushubh and mr X. wootForum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: How to navigate to “next post/previous post”I agree with Alan
Once again… state. I’m using the apr 19th nightly.
I plastered the code all over the php file. Nothing gets echoed out. In or out of the loop. (other support threads says to put it outside, wiki says to put it inside, so i just put it everywhere)
So I proceed to change the code abit…. maybe i’m just calling it wrongly. but hey!! errors abound.
So basically the function SHOULD be calling correctly… but nothing is being echoed out. boohoo… :(:(
*btw… thanks to Sushubh for replying to all my problemetic posts all over the forums*
