I opted for “Fancier Author Box” instead, that come with localisation, no extra work or even more plugins needed.

Thanks for the quick help. I used the second method, after updating the blog is working again with wp-slimstat activated, but the issue reported initially was still there.

Explicitly updating the plugin again (check wp-slimstat, choose “update” in drop-down) seems to have fixed that now.

I’d recommend a new version to spare other users from such troubles…

BTW: Thanks a million for the performance optimizations introduced recently – these made a HUGE change on my system – wow!

OMG, I downloaded the ZIP and uploaded the unpacked files into the wp-slimstat folder on my site.
Now my whole site is broken, only an empty page is shown.
I had to deactivate wp-slimstat to get it running again.

I guess the access rights to the files are now broken – right?
How can I fix this?

How should I have installed the new ZIP?

Oh, wow, that fixed it! Panels and also the check-boxes to disable / enable them in screen options re-appeared.

Steve, did you try this?

I see a new Panel security check… maybe adding / modifying the set of panels caused this in some configurations?

I don’t seem to have access to MySQL logs, at least I can’t find them in my management web interface.
How can I run that “quick scan”?
I ran CHECK TABLE and ANALYSE TABLE on the 5 tables containing “_SLIM_” in their name using phpMyAdmin, this was all ok.

I have scanned the error logs odf the last 4 days and not found anything related to wordpress or slimstat. All I see are files not found, access denied and the like.

Anything else I should look out for?

Can we confirm or exclude the chance that I have also have a DB problem?

Anything I can do to support the debugging? I am not as WP-savvy as Griff seems to be, so I’d probably need a bit more specific instructions, but I’m willing to help…
I’m really missing the stats…

AFAIK there have not been any significant changes to the DB on my server recently, so an external source of pain is quite unlikely.

Sorry to say that, but no change here after updating to 3.4.3 – still most of the panels missing in overview, also in the screen options – same as on screenshot above (https://s29.postimg.org/59v1j7lt3/Slimstat.jpg).

Pleeeeaase, I’m feeling so blind not knowing which pages get most traffic… ??

Um, can you help me to find this? I have a German installartion and can’t find anything that seems to fit, no Screen Options, no Ranking…

Update: I think in my case it was not related to the Update to 3.4.2 – if I remember right I did that update last week, but still saw the panels afterwards. I think they disappeared yesterday, but I might be mistaken…

Probably an issue with an external service (like IP lookup etc.)?

Same situation here, most of the panels I used in overview are gone. Any update in this?

Mike, your my hero! I edited the PHP as you described in line 36 and it now works – I’m using WP3.6.

PS: I mainly intend to use this to assign the right parent to comments – WP is not very good at helping users to properly answer comments…
