I started to install the beta. I got to the point where it asked if I was sure I wanted to replace version 2.2.2. Before saying yes, I looked at my site and the problem was gone. So I didn’t complete the installation. Everything is fine now. So perhaps there was a cache cleaning that fixed it.

I have seen this complaint a few times in here. I am not sure what you guys are talking about. Do you mean the file size? As far as my experience has been that is controlled by your server’s PHP settings. My CPANEL allows me to adjust that to whatever I want and the migration plugin works fine for whatever size I set it to.

Ah, now I see. It is the backup size limit. So what? The question is, does that limit apply to exports too. Because that is the real issue. There are many other plugins you can use to back things up.

Not for me. I have updated it and it works just fine. I used it today in fact with no issues at all.

No it doesn’t update it. It overwrites it.

I am sorry your experience has been so bad. I have used the free version on about 10 occasions for about a year now and I have not had a single problem. It works just as advertised.

I have to say I think @hansbeen is way out of line. He is complaining that the plugin doesn’t so what he wants when the features of the plugin are clearly stated. It would be like me going to a seafood restaurant and complaining because they don’t server pizza.

All one has to do is look at all of the positive reviews for this plugin and see that the developer provides amazing customer support for an amazing plugin.

I recommend this plugin.
