  • If you still have problems, uncheck “Break comments into pages…” in Settings > Discussions. HTH!

This does appear to be a Database issue. Install the WP-DB Manager Plugin.

Back up your database, then repair and optimize it using the provided tools. Most likely this will do the trick! Then depending on the size of your database do this on a regular basis to keep things humming.

    HTH! ??

Thanks for the link — I’ve bookmarked that one!

Turns out it was a PHP shell named wp-xmlrpc.php that had to be deleted and the shell script added back to the account. That’s how the host explained it. They also confirmed it had nothing to do with the database.

Let’s see how long it takes Google to get the site back in the index after having to grovel….

I have the double // for child categories that I deleted and no longer use. Using ulgaming’s suggestion didn’t work. I believe those childs are in the database somewhere as I’ve tried different sitemap plugins and the same happens — so I know it probably isn’t a plugin issue. More of a database issue and not knowing how to delete them permanently…

    Hey, red46…

What I’ve found is that if you your post doeesn’t get answered it is usually because that info has been provided in previous posts. ??

Thanks for the suggestions! ?? I did deactivate and reactivate and no change. I know there are other site map plugins out there — I am going to try and give another one a whirl.

But, if the childs are somewhere in the database — isn’t that what is being picked up on? Plus the double back slash in the path is wacky.

If I figure this out, I’ll post here in case others run into the same.

    Thanks again!

Yep, sure did… Even tried going through PHPAdmin to try and find the childs to delete them and just don’t want to risk fudging anything up. ??

For others who run into this problem, what I’ve found is the above error message happens on brand new Blogs that have no posts. Once you add a post, the calendar displays properly and the above string of code disappears about the widget display.

    HTH! ??

    Howdy!

Same here and as note by bunches of others…

2.6 installed and migrated the Blog content from TypePad. Posts comments show “0 Comments” when in fact there are comments and has NOT updated since new comments have been added — still showing “0 Comments”. Is this a TypePad to WP thing?

I tried the fix at the above URL and still no go! Tried deactivating plugins — no change. I’ve worked on a ton of WP Blogs and never ran into this before…

I’ve read everything here to no avail and would really appreciate if anyone has any info, a fix or can point me in the right direction!

    Thanks Mucho!
