Thanks for your input. I just upgraded to 4.7 and switched several plugins off and on. The problem may have come from PM Pro. My problem has now been resolved.
When I did the previous tests I was certain the conflict was with Wordfence. Now, I believe I may have been wrong. My apologies if this was a false alarm and thanks again for your swift attention.
Anthony
Thanks for the reply. Bearing in mid that for now Wordfence is on, and forums is invisible on my dashboard:
1. Fine, I can see the Buddypress settings page
2. No. The error is ” Sorry, you are not allowed to edit posts in this post type.”BTW I have a forums page set up for my site and I can see forums I have created.
Thanks, Anthony
I am entering this conversation because my query is the same. I have a dating site that relies on bbpress and buddypress integration. Everything was going fine until I added wordfence. Then my dashboard forums settings (all of them) disappeared. Well, I can’t change my theme, bbpress or buddypress plugins. That leaves me with having to either find a way around this or to remove wordfence, which would be a great shame.
Anything else possible? Thanks in advance

In reply to: [Buddypress Upload Avatar Ajax] Required fieldMy wish too!
I removed the necessity of the terms of service tick box and the result still the same.
Test fails with: Please complete all required fields
Aah, shoo! I have found the problem and it’s very unfortunate. Your plugin clashes with Paid Membership Pro plugin (which is an essential ingredient of my theme package!).
Is there any possible remedy?
I uninstalled and re-installed the plug-in and still have the same result.
No, none of those work.
To confirm I switched themes twice to wordpress twenty twelve and twenty fourteen. I tested pages from text editor with CONTENTS both in line and on a separate line.
Should I re-install?…I was hoping not to lose event pages.
If we can communicate privately I can give you dashboard access. My email is [email protected]
Oh, I got the link wrong for the edit page! This is it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-_yvXKsphE6MEtXYWdCY1FndWM/edit?usp=sharing
CONTENTS is in the middle of a paragraph, not a line on it’s own.
Okay, I have posted these screenshots: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-_yvXKsphE6S1VkNm5ibVRHTWc/edit?usp=sharing
; https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-_yvXKsphE6ekUxTHlVZzNqTW8/edit?usp=sharing.Note: I opened the page Events on my menu and did the screenshot. I then clicked edit from the dashboard and did the screenshot of the result. So, there is no chance they are not related pages.
Summary: Only seeing the event list, not contents/ description.
Thanks in advance, Anthony.

I’ve done that but it doesn’t make any difference.

In reply to: [jQuery T(-) Countdown Widget] Style missingThanks! The timer is looking great.
I have just one query. How can I align the shortcode/ widget to the left? It’s center right now. I tried html but that didn’t work.
