Definitely not a plugin. I found it is just an added in program called ‘rotating peel’. I don’t see why it isn’t working, so I am looking for a good WP plugin to replace it.

I found the wordpress mobile pack plugin is the cause of the failure. i am researching a solution but if someone has one, please let me know. I would just leave the plugin deactivated, but one of my flash videos wont load without that plugin for some reason. I am currently looking for a solution to get the video to run without it.

Anywho, please let me know if anyone has a solution to the mobile pack plugin/pretty URLs issue.

Still hoping to get an answer to this as I have exhausted all research avenues I can think of. I really see no reason for the pretty names not to show, because on all new pages I have made, the pretty url shows up (page name instead of page number). Please help!

So is making MO a subdomain of MOT the only for this to work? Is there a way to make it work with both MOT and MO being seperate domains?

Figured i give an update. I have manually updated the site to 3.2.1 but I still can’t log in. I was able to log in using IE9 instead of my usual FF, while doing the manual updates. Now it is 2 days later and I can’t login regardless of the browser. Ideas? anyone?

Hi again, I really need help with this if anyone has an idea… I tried manually updating to 2.9 but that didn’t help. I tried renaming the plugins folder, but my host wont give me access to do it.

Can I just delete everything (after doing a backup), reinstall WP (new version), update the wp-config, then ftp the old theme folder over?

So I should do it manually? I guess that would bypass the auto update ftp credential issue.

I have solved this. I added the code in the ‘Category Template’ before the loop.php call.

You are obviously the expert so I please excuse me for questioning you, but I have spent about 5 hours on this and would hate to have to redo everything so I have to ask, it really necessary?

Thank you. i figured out a different way, but I will keep this in mind for future as it seems much simpler.
