In reply to: [Comments - wpDiscuz] customize email notificationYes i Know the e-mail tab section. I am talking about the e-mail the user receives when he checks wpdiscuz subscription options on a post.
These emails contain informations such as ip adress, and i would like to remove it, as well as making other changes.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Comments - wpDiscuz] simplify user workflowRethinking about this.
As the confirmation by user of email subscription is just one time per post, it should not be too heavy to manage.
I have a request for another simplification.
When a user receives an email notification related to a new comment, if he is not already logged in WP, would it be possible to automatically login him and display the post, so he could then answer directly from a clic in his email.
From a security standpoint, if he can read this email, he could also read the email for a new WP password request, so don’t seem a problem.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Comments - wpDiscuz] wpdiscuz not showing with ET Divi Page BuilderOK I understand.
Meanwhile, this Page Builder allows me to embed HTML/PHP code in my WP pages, and it is processed. Can you provide some code I can embed to display WPDiscuz?
Other points:
Do you have WPDiscuz translated in French? If not, how can I contribute to localization in French?
I have seen someone mentioning a Pro version. What is it?If the link to clic is displayed on the page, for sure.
Will it be like this? What is the expected release timeframe, if already planned?OK so far everything seems to work fine, including email notifications, so congratulations for this plugin and your support.
One last question (or wish?).
Is it possible to display the checkbox on the page so the user can use it to update its notification status.
The management page is fine but could become a little bit confusing is there is a lot of subscriptions.
For my intended usage, people will use comments on one page for some time, and then will want to cancel their subscription.
My feeling is that it would be simpler to do it on the page itself rather then navigating to the management page.for WP settings, permalink is set to topic subject (ie. /%postname%/) for any site of this multisite install.
for StCR I leave the default value for URL on the Management Page:
/comment-subscriptions/aaaah got it!
The checkbox was not displayed because there was already a subscription for this user on this page. Probably from my previous test.
Is it possible to have the checkbox always displayed, rather then going to the subscription page to update it?just noticed the checkbox is displayed when none is connected.
so you will see the check box.
can send you credentials by email so you can compare when user is logged in.The Advanced subscription option on the Comment Form options tab is enabled.
Checkbox displayed for admin user, not others.
And finally I don’t use the User Role Editor plugin, it’s on another WP install I manage too.Solved for admin user.
Under the Options tab in Settings, I was not allowing admins to subscribe. But not solved for subscriber users.
does it need special permission, as I use User Role Editor plugin?same problem when applying theme twenty fifteen, so not related to theme.
