I downloaded that plugin and installed it on my sandbox, and I am just not seeing the same issue, so no I cannot seem to replicate it.
Permalinks are pretty important for Events/Tickets and our plugins, but if you are not removing the base for Events it shouldn’t really make a difference. I might try to test that against some other plugins on your site maybe, but otherwise I’m just not seeing the same behavior.
Hey @oceandigitals
Thanks for getting back to me, apologies for the wait, I am still trying to figure out why this might be happening.
I downloaded the Remove CPT Base plugin and installed it on my main test sandbox, but I don’t see a checkbox option for “Pages.” Are you referring to “Pages” or “Posts”?
I understand, however that Post type slug is pretty important for our Events, especially since our plugins rely on “pretty permalinks” across the board. Is there any way to exclude events from that plugin maybe?
Otherwise you may want to disable it, or reach out to those Developers to see if they can make an except for our post types.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Site down after last updating 6.5.1.5Hi @studiolonga
Thanks for getting back to me here, I checked the link and I can see the site is down, but I don’t think it’s necessarily because of this issue. I’m also not really seeing many reports of some large conflict between Avada and TEC. I would first take a look at this guide on setting up Avada with our plugins.
Then I would also try to conflict test the site, as well as look for any error logs or other info that could be helpful here.
I just checked one of my test sites with Avada yesterday and I did not get an error that shut down the site, so it seems to me that something else is playing a part in this.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Site down after last updating 6.5.1.5Hi there @studiolonga
Thanks for reaching out to us here, there are some settings in Avada that can conflict with our plugins, under “CSS Optimization” settings: https://pasteboard.co/IV8ty0bNjnh8.png
Could you try to match those and see if that helps the issue?
Otherwise are there any error logs or screenshots that you can provide that show more of the issue?
Hey there @oceandigitals
Thanks for getting back to us and letting us know! I took a look at the page for that Plugin, it has a description but I’m not entirely sure what exactly it is supposed to do. I would go ahead and reach out to those developers to see if they can provide a reason or workaround as why it would break the block editor.

In reply to: [Booking Calendar | Appointment Booking | Bookit] How to order PRO?Hey @studiowizjo
Apologies for the confusion here, that can be found on this link: BookIt Payments.
We are actually looking to make some larger changes to BookIt as a whole, so I’m going to report that error to my team as well, we should be able to get that fixed sooner than later. Let me know if you have any other questions!
That’s totally understandable, we have some easy options for setting up staging sites in this article if you need some other options. Please just let us know when you get a chance to clone that and then run a conflict test.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] ExportHi @napalmx37
Thanks for reaching out to us, so yes you can use the same license key once you disconnect it from the old site. However we currently don’t have a built in option to export or migrate events from one site to another, but there are some ways to get around this. You could look at the Event Aggregator Addon, which would work for a one-time way to port over events.
The other option would be to download WP All Export/Import and then use this Extension and that should allow you to migrate things from one to the other.
The WordPress XML Exporter is also an option, but that does not usually encompass all the extra event data and you would need separate imports for Venues, Organizers, etc. It’s not as reliable of a way to do this.
Let me know if you have questions!
Alright thank you for the clarification. The other things I would check: Does creating a page and trying to add any shortcodes or something else to it create the same issue?
Are you able to add tickets to just a Page or a Post and not just the Custom Post Type?
If you use the Classic Editor does it work?
Please let us know once you are able to test that further.Hey @oceandigitals
When you refresh the page, is this still after you have saved it? Or are you referring to refreshing the page on the front end? Have you tried to just disable everything else except Event Tickets, the custom post type plugin and Gutenberg? Once you do that I would recommend creating a totally new post with new tickets, and I might even test with Gutenberg disabled in the classic editor if you can.
Thanks for sharing this info with me that is very helpful! So this issue is not something I can currently recreate with just Event Tickets. In the past we have seen that same error occur because of corrupted data, and this can happen sometimes from switch editors. However just to check, you have only been using the Gutenberg editor? And never turned the classic editor on?
In this case the next step would be to have you perform a conflict test on this site: Testing Conflicts With Themes and Other Plugins | Knowledgebase I know recently I have seen some people have issues with GeneratePress theme, but it’s hard to say exactly.
The other thing I wanted to ask about is the Custom post Type, which custom post type is that exactly you are trying to attach this to? I may try to test that out on one of my sites, but as far as I have seen these should be working too. Can you let me know if that conflict test turns up anything?
If you cannot see the tickets area on a custom post type, have you made sure to set up a payment gateway as well? Even if you hadn’t it should still allow you to add an RSVP. I would also check the WordPress screen settings to make sure that is enabled.
The other thing I would ask is, are you using the block editor or the classic editor? And are you using any kind of page builder?
I’m trying to get some more info on where exactly that block error might be coming from, but usually this can happen when say the block editor is fighting with the classic editor, sometimes because of a page builder.
If you let me know more about your setup that would be really helpful!
Hi @truhland003
Thanks for reaching out, I would be happy to try and point you in the right direction here. Taking a look at your calendar, it’s a bit difficult to see if these events are Recurring, or they span multiple days or weeks, and I also really can’t tell if this is an old version or if it’s heavily customized.
As for the base version of the plugin, there is not any kind of built-in option to display Events in a weekly format, you would need the Upgrade to Events Calendar Pro to use the Week View or Events by Week Widget.
Are the Course different from Events? Or are you saying they are the same thing, they just take up a longer span of time? I’d like to know more about this, but again if you need a Week view of some type you would have to upgrade.
