WP since 2.0 only generates a standard 9 line .htaccess file. The actual rewrite rules are written to your database (somewhere in wp_options)…

I know that K2 has its own support forum. But this here has a much broader audience, and maybe someone just comes up with the right idea how to fix this…

So far i am not able to paste the code here correctly – the backtick thing does not work. Still trying – and you can see it working on my site…

adamb: You’re right with four finding that pages are nothing but entries on their own (pseudo-static) page. Which is very useful for “About me” and comparable stuff – that was one of the most requested features for the further development of WP.

Hm – why don’t you just set up a new “page” (Write/Page)? That’s one of the main new features in 1.5 and exactly conceptioned for your purpose, i suppose.

Spam Karma works fine with 1.5 for me. I have Image Browser running as well, no problems whatsoever. Blacklist needs some modifications (described on the author’s page).

I have WP Hashcash and Spam Karma running, the latter because i had a lot of trackback spam recently… My SK blacklist is at https://www.teezeh.info/wp-content/spam-karma/export-blacklist.php

I’ve been using the nightlies since early January (all of them) and there were only minor glitches. It’s fun to follow the progress via the CVS…

Are you using any anti-spam-plugin? In WP-Blacklist for example you would have to uncomment some code (the author describes this on his website)…

The categories can be found unter “Manage” in 1.5.

Regarding the sidebar: You need more entries in your blog to fill up the page. Or change yout template so that the sidebar sets the minimum page length…

Well, i guess that someone is preparing a comment/trackback spam attack on your site. In another couple of days you will be flooded. Delete those comments ASAP, i recommend…

Well, so do I. Most of the time. I think Apple should make the Aqua look an option in Safari and not the default. That would be the best solution from my point of view.

And when it comes to Mac browsers – i’ll wait for Tiger Safari and Firefox 1.1 and then decide which one to choose as my personal default. Right now i use both, depending on the site i visit.
