Hi David,

I’m fairly familiar with developer tools, I usually use an combination of Netbeans and Chrome for PHP/JS debugging.

I had a quick look at “mla-add-new-bulk-edit-scripts.min.js” but it didn’t seem to hit any of my breakpoints when I tried an bulk upload.

Apologies for the delay in response.

I have tried your suggestion above and completed every field in the “bulk edit area”, sadly none at all have been added to the uploaded image. I tried this with Drag&Drop and File Selecting methods.

I have also installed a new/clean/empty instance of WordPress 4.1.1, then added only the MLA plugin, and received the same results.

Your idea of adding some logging/tracking sound great, let me know if i can help further.

Thanks for your quick reply, here is the step by step process i am taking

1. navigate to wp-admin/media-new.php
2. opening the Bulk Edit area
3. choosing(click checkbox) from the Att. Categories list
4. drop files onto the “Drop files here” area.
5. click the “Edit” link next to one of the uploaded files to view it.
6. look at the Att. Categories pane in Right hand column of ‘Edit Media’

No Att. Categories are checked

Hi David,

Thank you for you work on this very useful plugin, I was excited to see the addition of Bulk uploading feature in v2.02, I am trying to Bulk assign a category when uploading small amounts (5-10) of files, I am having difficulties, am i doing something wrong?

I am navigating to wp-admin/media-new.php, opening the Bulk Edit area, choosing from the Att. Categories list, then dropping files onto the “Drop files here” area.

Once uploaded & crunched! the files do not appear to be assigned to the category I selected.

I have tried this on an empty WP 4.1.1 install with the same results.
