What is the best way to share that file? Do I just paste in what I have in this editor? Is there a place I can email it to your or some such? Please advise. Thank you.

Hello? Is issue something you are no longer willing or able to work on? I really need this fixed, if this is something that is impossible for you to fix please let me know. I am totally willing to work with you to get this corrected, I can provide a staging site and so forth but I need you to communicate with me.

… so it’s been three weeks since I last heard from you. I still want to get this fixed. I can setup a staging environment if that will help but I either need to get this solved (hopefully with your help) or I need to move to another product. Please let me know if you are going to continue to help me or if I should move on. Thank you.

With WP_Debug turned on, I got to Apperance->Widgets and click on the “Manage with live preview” button and that’s when I get the error, with the debug turned to false I don’t see that error.

    Hello,

    The PHP version is 7.1

There are, of course, other plugins. With all of them deactivated the issue still persists, the same with when I change to the default theme (plugins active or deactivated) the problem remains unchanged.

I currently have WP_Debug set to true and I am not seeing an error when I try to view the Widgets page, however, when I click the “Manage with Live Preview” button I can see this error …

“Parent (Subpages of): ? Fatal error: Uncaught ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function Tribe__Events__Front_Page_View::add_events_page_option(), 1 passed in /www/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 286 and exactly 3 expected in /www/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Front_Page_View.php:229 Stack trace: #0 /www/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): Tribe__Events__Front_Page_View->add_events_page_option(‘”

I’ve attached a screenshot of what I was seeing …

    Does this help?

    Hi Ed,

When I follow Appearance->Customize this shows a broken interface when the plugin is active. (see link)

    https://pasteboard.co/I1MjIqP.png

When it is inactive it works as expected. (see link)

With the plugin active, when I follow the Admin Menu->Appearances->Widgets this is what I see … (see link)

when the plugin is deactivated I am seeing the following as expected (see link)

As you can see, this makes so that we have to turn off your plugin to make updates as the site is mainly controlled by widgets. A fix for this would be greatly appreciated.

The Events Tickets version is – 4.10.0.1

The Events Calendar version is – 4.8.1

They should be up to date. Thank you.

    Hello again,

I’ve found another site that this is happening on, I believe it would be wise to actually respond to this. I’m happy to offer up more information if someone would respond. I would have uploaded screenshots but I don’t see a way to do that here.

I have some more information: It looks like the theme that is being used is in conflict with your plugin. I’m not sure if you would be able to help with getting it working (the theme is pretty much built and we can’t switch away from it at this point) but any insight you might have would be appreciated.

Also, to further describe what I’m seeing is when I go to the settings page it looks as it should (with tabs and lots of options down the page) then a second or two later it collapses showing the tabs and the first option for whichever tab you happen to be on.

Let me know if you have any insights.

    Thanks again,

Like many of the other people in this thread my widgets don’t work. Even after clearing cache, deactivating every single plugin, and switching to the default theme. Thoughts?

    Hi,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I’m happy to send you the files you requested but the link you provided didn’t seem to offer file upload, did I miss something or is there another way I can send you the information? If I just missed to file upload just let me know and I’ll try again.

    Thank you,

    TCC

I was unable to get the plugin to work on my remote development site even after deactivating all other plugins so I’m stuck.

Can I send you the login link off line so that I’m not pasting it in a forum for all to see?

Also, I’m using wordpress 3.5.2 for now.

The remote dev I’m working with is running on Linux.

    Hello,

I was trying to get this working locally on my Mac using MAMP which it occurs to me might not be something that will work. I can’t give you a login without having you ssh into my machine.

I should say that I first tried to use to plugin by using a third party app “Google Authenticator” which didn’t seem to work where upon I tried it with the default “email” option and that didn’t give me an option to click the “one time password” button which did not appear.

I can try installing the plugin on my dev server if it’s not going to work with MAMP, I’m just in the habit of using my local development environment before my remote. So before I go about giving you passwords I should verify that it won’t work on my remote server first, yes? Let me see if that works and get back to you.

    Thank you,

    TCC

@srijith.v would it be possible for you to make an update to the plugin so that this won’t happen any longer? I’ve got a site where …

    var addthis_config = {“data_track_clickback”:false,”data_track_addressbar”:false,”data_track_textcopy”:false,”ui_atversion”:”300″};
    var addthis_product = ‘wpp-3.1’;

… is being displayed in a sidebar that shows my testimonials (the plugin shouldn’t be doing anything there at all) and I don’t know why. I did a search on google and found many other sites that are displaying this text and I feel like once more people realize this is happening on their sites they’ll likely be coming here for you input. Is there anything you can do? The problem only happens on my site from time to time but it shouldn’t happen in the first place.
