I have solved it by bringing back the W3T cache setting to default.
It seems i may have put some .js file in after /body and defer it. Have removed all the files as of now.

I do have W3 total cachin plugin installed and no other.
Folder contains a lot of .css files and carry very long and strange name. That is why it was suspicious to me as spam folder.

How can i go about it?
Suppose i delete that folder and something go wrong.
How can i undo that damage?
Is there any guidelines

I have been searching for the same but not able to find out what should be done.
Any help is much appreciated.

You were right in pointing out the use of functions.php instead of function.php
It helped and now my child theme is working

I am not very inclined to use tablepress or any plugin. If in future or so, if i decide to remove the plugin, i will have to re-do my table. I was thinking to go with code as coding for table seems simple (I am very new to html-Css coding) and plugin i thought will not be required.
