I found that if i enabled the plugin for comments (and disabled my proprietary comment system: Echo) then the plugin worked for comments but still not for the post content.
A bit more:
I am definitely logged in as admin because I can do admin duties.
Also, The posts which were assigned to the admin account after deleting ‘Alex’ stayed with the admin account but new posts made as the admin are attributed to Alex.
