Thanks for that. That fixed the problem of explorer showing the picture. it was just going and getting it from my hard drive.

I edited the script thus

BUT I still can’t view it in the sidebar. should there be some other code around it?

Its Fixed! thanks for all you guys help!!!! it was dreaded white space in wp-blogheader.php.

I had considered Norton and firewalls and had deleted the whole lot. not the problem this timer

I’m going through files now looking for white space. I have just re-installed wordpress for 4th time and deleted database on server and reinstalled. I have not added any pugins? and checked default plugins for white space – none

Hey thanks for that BUT it all a bit over my head! Ive tried the timeout setting but there are so many and all digfferent variables? Could the fact Im only running windows 98 be an issue? or that there is another database = test on my server that seems to be experiencing errors. I have asked my host support about this too??
