I’ve just checked, there were quite a lot that still needed a few file sizes to be compressed.

Clicked the buttons to compress, success, no errors or warnings, but when I refresh the page again it shows they still need compressing.

Tried disabling some plugins but still same issue.

Is there a way here I can send you some screenshots privately and/or login details … the log files are a bit weird, it looks like it’s compressing the css once, and then doing it once more, and then again, and then again and not clearing any of the old files. Same with javascript.

Could well be a plugin conflict but I’ve no idea which one and why tho.

It’s most likely something to do with the plugins WP Super Cache, and Minify HTML, so I’ll disable those and see how it runs without them for a while.

It took about a week to get to that size.

And not adding any new files or content.

When we purge manually, it does clear the files, but I was expecting it to purge itself and only keep recent files (which it isn’t).

Thanks, got it … it was more about how you then go from the landing page to the “home” page via a link, but got it figured out now.

Can you explain the process of setting the new landing page as the home page, we’re not seeing any options to allow us to do this.

Thanks for the reply. I’ve taken a quick look at the documentation.

To be clear, we have #17 categories in the “knowledge” section, and we need to display the latest (only one) post from each of those #17 categories.

Your slider will allow us to choose those #17 categories, and then pull ONLY the latest post from each?

Can it also display the category that the post came from? (same as on the original site home page)

Also, can it be configured to display in a vertical form, with perhaps only one group (4 posts) of excerpts showing per page, then slide to the next group of 4?
