Is there any further news on likely timing for the update?
Ah – see it is “no reply” address.
I can’t add screenshots in a public forum.
Maybe I can just put the question a different way:Using your plugins how would you advise the settings to be made in order to allow a user to view only certain (category) private events in the front end of the site, instead of all of the private events in existence (when logged in).
My understanding is that the WordPress visibility setting of ‘private’ allows users to view private events if they are logged in. How can I control WHICH private events they are able to see? I am happy to buy the pro version of the Capabilities plugin if that would enable this, but is it actually possible to stop a user from seeing all private events (using the WordPress visibility setting of private) once they are logged in, even though they are meant to be restricted to one category?`
Hi – please see my reply via email. Thanks!

In reply to: [WP Extended Search] Using with Tribe Events Calendar Additional FieldsBy way of update: I can now see that actually the Additional Fields ARE being included in the main site search, but the separate search in the Tribe events bar above the events is not being improved. See this link for an example of the events search field:
https://tashmina.co.uk/concerts/
My understanding is that it uses the same criteria (for what to search) as the standard WP search, which is why I had hoped it would work here too (to include the Additional fields). Many thanks
Many thanks indeed. I did try (before writing) changing that option to black, but one can still see the website page behind which is why I thought I must have it wrong. Maybe it is the opacity that is causing the problem? Not to worry but thanks – I think I will just revert to the standard WP gallery and add a lightbox separately. Thanks again for your help.

In reply to: [Custom Post Type UI] Adding post type which already existsThank you so much for such brilliant and quick support.
Yes, it is on a test site and yes, it was the red text.
“Slug already exists!”Reassured by your letting me know that I should be able to add it, I persevered. No joy to start with but then I added a “test”,completely new, CPT, left it there and then returned to trying to add the one that was already registered and had given me the error. This time I could add it! It worked!!!
Many thanks again
