In reply to: Do not allow Sub-Domain users to create a new sub-domain ..Sorry if I could not make you understand my point, let me say it again.
The user’s from a sub-domain are able to sign-up and create a sub-domain on my main blog which I don’t want to be the case. I only want the visitor’s of my main blog being able to create the sub-domains.
May be it is the case of a redirection as you have said, but am not sure if this is the case how to fix it? Please advise

In reply to: Error creating a website by a registered userYes, sorry for the delayed response. I did and have removed it from there now the blog looks fine without the language option for the new blog site. Just for my curiosity is there any other plugin available which could provide the same functionality – providing an option for the language for the new blog site?
Thanks,

In reply to: Error creating a website by a registered userI have tried it and renamed it like –signup-language.php, but even then the process kept on referring to it.
I have submitted a support ticket with the Psek People as well and am expecting a response from them to bail me out of this fiasco.Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Error creating a website by a registered userI tried to find out the ‘signup language’ plugin in installed/uninstalled or even on the server but could not find its installation files either. I would appreciate any suggestion to fix it up.
I tried to install another pluginxlanguage
and activate it but this plugin even could not be activated.

In reply to: Error creating a website by a registered userOh, you mean signup is installed and activated as a Plugin, since I did not installed it I did not know about it. It came pre-installed by Psek people then. What if a compatible version is not available? can you recommend some other plugin which could take care of the process?

In reply to: Allowing Registered Users to add a blog ..Hi, I was able to figure out the Settings on Options page under “Network Options”, but now the issue I am faced with is
background: I upgraded to version 3.0 from an older version WordPress MU 2.9.2Now when a registered user tries to create its own site, we encounter an error “Warning: include_once(/home/legisblg/public_html/wp-admin/includes/mu.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/legisblg/public_html/wp-content/mu-plugins/signup-language.php on line ..”.
I looked in the code of signup-language.php and was surprised to note that it was pointing to a missing mu.php in folder [/home/legisblg/public_html/wp-admin/includes/]. I would appreciate any help on this which could lead to us getting this error fixed.
TIA,

In reply to: Allowing Restricted Admin access to Sub-domainsOkay, am going to upgrade my current installation of WordPress MU v2.9.2 to the latest available version of WordPress [may be MU] accessible from the
update
button available on the Admin page of the main blog.
I have read similar story somewhere else as well ‘Is it true that from version 3.0 onwards there will be only one version of WordPress?’ and there wouldn’t be any separate MU version?
Please respond.

In reply to: Problem Accessing Sub-Domain .. WordPress MUThanks for the information. I really appreciate your support, just was confused over it. I did observe that there was a delay of about 10min or so before the added sub-domain became available.

In reply to: Allowing Restricted Admin access to Sub-domainsThanks Andrea, do you mean I should upgrade existing v2.9.2 of MU to v3.0 of MU? If this is the recommendation will do it immediately, please response ASAP.

In reply to: Problem Accessing Sub-Domain .. WordPress MUI happened to resolve it myself, but did not know how I did it? I think there is some cooling period before the newly created sub-domain becomes accessible? is it correct?
