In reply to: [GeneratePress] Problem with Featured Image on PagesThank you very much for the quick response @yingscarlett – it really was quick!
Much Appreciated!It means the issue is still unresolved even after 3 months or so?
Hi thanks for getting back to me, even though I have moved on and used another solution to get the job done.
I even tried the provided ‘Registration Form’ and even that didn’t worked for me – using the latest version of WordPress. I used another plugin and that did the magic for me.
I would like you to look into it as it may help someone else, and importantly may help you improve the stability of your product. Who know I gave it another try on another website.
Thanks!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [YITH WooCommerce Wishlist] Integrating wishlist counter on an icon or buttonIs this widget “Mini Wishlist” widget available in free version? if it’s possible to integrate it with Elementor v3.x on a custom theme?

So, there’s a work around @cavalierlife
Thank you so much for your help!
Thank for the quick response @cavalierlife
I am just about the learning Elementor, and want to know these things in advance actually working on a clients site. I do understand the difference between templates and pages. I am glad to know that at least we can export templates as JSON files and then import them on the clients site.
Please let me know if I am mistaken, what if I create a page [using elementor] and then save it as a template. What about exporting it and then importing on another site, would it carry all the bells and whistles of the Page or ???
Thanks @cavalierlife for the reply.
I clearly understand and know how to actually migrate WordPress sites, my question was specifically for the WebSites [templates] developed using Elementor. If I got it right all the templates are being stored in the back end database and there are no
template
files as is the case in traditional theme development.All you have to do is Package all your theme files in a zip file and share with the client or help him with the install by uploading those files to his server/domain and activate the theme [usually a child theme]. I was am still wondering if there is an easier way of delivering theme files [build using Elementor] to the clients?
I was expecting something like an export of the Elementor related stuff to [may be] a JSON file which then can be imported on the Clients Domain.
Thanks Again!
@manuraj09, it’s not advisable to edit the theme or plugin files using that built-in editor. Alwasy use 3rd party editors to edit core Plugin and/or theme files when required.
I am also facing this issue on my local installation over XAMPP .. strange!

In reply to: [OptionTree] Setting Up ThemeI am using this on a child theme and am unable to activate the Theme Mode, it appends the path of child theme dir to the parent theme directory like
Warning: include_once(C:\xampp\htdocs\WPRedux/wp-content/themes/twentysixteen/C:/xampp/htdocs/WPRedux/wp-content/themes/TwentySixteen-Child/option-tree/includes\ot-functions.php): failed to open stream: Invalid argument in C:\xampp\htdocs\WPRedux\wp-content\themes\TwentySixteen-Child\option-tree\ot-loader.php on line 553
even though I am not using include_once,
/** * Required: set 'ot_theme_mode' filter to true. */ add_filter( 'ot_theme_mode', '__return_true' ); /** * Required: include OptionTree. */ //require( trailingslashit( get_template_directory() ) . 'option-tree/ot-loader.php' ); if (ot_theme_mode) { require( dirname(__FILE__) . '\option-tree\ot-loader.php') ; }
I have even tried it like you have suggested ..
require( trailingslashit( get_template_directory() ) . 'option-tree/ot-loader.php' );
which looks for the plugin in the parent directory instead of the Child Theme..
