Yes, you can specify how many stars you want. The plugin’s default is 5; I changed it to 10.

Yes, you can include the stars on other pages. I have it on index.php, search.php, single.php, and archive.php.

Hi Jack, to add the vote box to each post, you need to put it in “The Loop” somewhere. I have inserted it in The Loop in four files in my theme — archive.php, index.php, search.php, and single.php.

The complete statement to insert is:

As far as displaying a list of posts with the highest ratings, you need to add the following to your sidebar or page:

<ol><?php votio_top_posts() ?></ol>

To see an example of this, you can go to my site at

Click the link in the right column called “Highest Rated Episodes.”

Just tried this with WordPress 2.0.1, and yes, it seems to work now! ??

Update: Sorry, I thought it worked, but it didn’t. Tried copying Annelogue’s CSS into my Flickr layout, but the CSS didn’t come through correctly. ??

Open the theme’s style.css file and modify the “theme name” and other variables at the top of the file.

Actually, I figured out what it was — the Adhesive plugin doesn’t seem to play well with 2.0.1. Once I deactivated it, everything was fine.

By reset permalinks, do you mean going to Options > Permalinks, and clicking “Update Permalink Structure”? I tried that and it didn’t change anything. (I use the default permalink setting.)
