In reply to: [PWA — easy way to Progressive Web App] Storing pages locally@iworks If it doesn’t work, don’t waste your time on it.
All that matters is for the plugin to function correctly. Thanks!
Sorry, but I didn’t realize that in 2022 people are still setting a price on basic security.
In a world run by bots and hackers, having user validation and verification is beyond important. It’s just standard practice. If the email verification is too much for the free version, then you can at least add reCAPTCHA to the register forms (which, by the way, isn’t bot proof, but it’s something).
Also, for the email verification system, you can get some hints on how to implement it, from this plugin that does it very well.
Thanks!
Fixed in v1.4.6
However, the logout function can be improved a little, as it has a weird refresh when you click on the Logout button, as you can see in the following video:

In reply to: [PWA — easy way to Progressive Web App] Storing pages locallyBrowser related. Thank you for catch it – I replace icon with white-background one – and it looks well.
If it can be controlled, then I have no idea how.
I hope it’s not browser related, as now, if you open the 5o5 PWA app, the splash screen shows an icon with a white background.
Found some info related to this, here:

In reply to: [White Label CMS] Hide Nag Messages Bug?@videousermanuals thanks for the reply.
If you need some hints on a better implementation, you can check this plugin which catches most of the plugin messages and hides them in a dashboard tab. Thanks!

In reply to: [PWA — easy way to Progressive Web App] Plugin Mobile Performance Issue@iworks Works good now.
I had to clear the entire browser cache (cookies and everything). Also, the performance seems to have improved a bit (although I’m still getting some mixed readings from PageSpeed Insights, but yeah, it’s the cache hit).
Thanks!
Works great now.
Thanks a lot, Marcin!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [PWA — easy way to Progressive Web App] Plugin Mobile Performance Issue@iworks Thanks for the update.
However, v1.3.1 seems to have broken the PWA Add to home screen prompt. It doesn’t appear anymore, not even when I open the website in an Incognito tab.

As you can see, the worker doesn’t seem to get loaded anymore.
Can you please confirm?Forum: Plugins

Actually, @katsushi-kawamori isn’t gone as he had some activity 2 weeks ago, pushing some updates to some of his other plugins.
I just hope he will show some love to this one also.If he fixes the WooCommerce compatibility and the conflict with the image resizing, then this plugin will be the best.
Fingers crossed! ??
