Further investigation: I dl’d the latest version of Mozilla Firefox, 1.0PR, and I get the same problem. The login page loads fine in Mozilla 1.7 and in IE, and the blog proper loads in all three…
Anyone else having this problem. Ideas?

Well, since the original posts(s) I did a little digging. The login page pulls up okay in IE, but not Firefox. This is a change, because I used Firefox all the way through in setting up this blog, as far as posting and testing. Now all of a sudden Firefox does not seem to like PHP…
The server has been running PHP just fine…
Any Firefox whizzes out there???

When I try to log into my blog, I get a window “Opening post.php”
“You have chosen to ‘post.php’ which is a: PHP file from: https://mosltycajun.com/wordpress/wp-admin/
What should Firefox do with this file?”
and then option to open or save to disk.
?WordPress problem or Firefox problem? The blog itself was doin g this to me yesterday but it’sworking okay now… but I can’t log in to my control panel…

Okay. Got a handle on this now… Swapped to yet another template. It’s working. Thanks for the help!

Looked simple, fast-loading, etc. Thought I’d give it a try…
Just need a little jump-start. I’m on a steep part of the learning curve here…

Thanks. I tried various combinations of the advice given in that FAQ, with still no good result. I am waiting to see what blogger has to say. I have over 500 posts to import, and I certainly do not wish to do that by cut and paste.

I posted a request for help to Blogger. We’ll see how that goes over…
When you say pathnames should be relative:
My ftp account is “mostlycajun.com”
I want to put the blog in “mostlycajun.com/wordpress/”
So is the ftp path supposed to be “wordpress/” ?
How about the archive path? I want the archives in the /wordpress/ directory also.
There’s gotta be someting simple I’m trying to make too complicated…
